Support, Encourage, Enable

'If it hadn't been for Lancashire Women's Centres I wouldn't be here. I've got a future, there was no future before - I believe I have a future.'

Information & Advice

We undertake a range of information, advice and signposting activities to support women to have the information, knowledge and skills that they need to get the best out of life.  We also work closely with local partners to enhance our offer and bring in specialist advice provision into our centres.

Current Programmes:

Money and Housing Advice Service

This service provides debt advice, money advice and financial literacy support across all our centres.  This is delivered through one to one casework and group training activity.  This service can also offer support around improving home energy efficiency and reducing the risk of fuel poverty.

Legal Advice

We work with a number of local solicitors who provide free legal clinics at our centres.

Emergency Food Provision

We can prepare simple hot food for those attending for appointments or support and who are hungry.  For those engaging with our range of services we can also provide emergency food provision  and referral into local food bank schemes.
