How about becoming a #LWCSTAR?

We all have something we’re good at, or something we’ve always fancied doing. Whatever your 'thing' is, we’re here to help you turn it into a fantastic fundraiser that’ll impact the lives of local women.You can fundraise doing anything you want for Lancashire Women's Centres, but there are a few tried and tested ways from past events that are set to raise lots of money.

We have everything you need to get you started, from the latest fundraising tools, to handy tips for racking up the sponsors - we’ve got you covered !

Organise Your Own Event On Our Behalf

However you choose to support us, we would love to hear from you. You might have your own idea for a fundraiser, from a coffee morning to a cake sale, a golf day or masquerade ball.

We can provide you with all the support and advice you need to make your idea or event a success, and celebrate your efforts for local women along the way.

All you need to do is make sure you ask for your blue token at the checkout, every customer should get one with their shopping, no matter what spend and simply pop it into Lancashire Women's Centres collecting box and vote for us! it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token!

Bryan, The Glitch and the Orniphobes....(well budgies) 

Following the success of their debut hit comedy – Bryan, The Witch & The Gynaphobes – Lancashire Women’s Centres ‘Players’ are back and proud to present their sequel.

The Chairman and his committee of the Working Mens Club, are off to foreign parts to meet the mayor of a town being twinned with their own.

But Summats Up, Down & Across ONCE AGAIN ! They are not alone – some unwelcome familiar faces are making the journey too – and its all about to get turbulent to say the least ! So fasten your seatbelts and brace yourself for lots of laughs as the clash of the clubs and the battle of the sexes ….takes off...to unchartered waters…where someone’s spitting feathers!

Do you like running ? ... fancy a 10k ? how about running on our behalf in the Run for all Burnley 10k on Sunday 15th July 2018   We will pay for your entry, provide you with one of our lovely purple running t-shirts  in return of you raising a minimum sponsorship of £75 for our charity.

Running too much ??? how about a lovely walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, Sunday 13th May 2018 starting at Clayton Le Moors,  a perfect family day out supporting your favourite local charity!!

Past Events

We enjoyed a couple of successful bag packs during the Festive period which the income raised from will make a great difference to the women we support ! 

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd December in Asda Accrington we raised a wonderful £643.00! and on Tuesday 12th December in Tesco Extra Superstore a fabulous £219.00!!

Ladies Winter Fashion Show evening - Friday 24th November - 7.30pm at Accrington Stanley Sports Bar, Livingstone Road, Accrington  we enjoyed a fabulous evening and you helped to raise £252.72 !! 

Ladies Shop 2 Drop Fashion Show evening - Saturday 25th November - 7.30pm at St Kentigern's Social Club, Newton Drive, Blackpool another super event which was enjoyed by all we raised £291.00 !!!

AUTUMN BREAKER 10KSunday 15th October 2017 starting at Stanley Park Arena Blackpool,  we had a couple of fab runners taking part on our behalf running the 10k! What a great job they did! Monies are still being counted but THANK YOU for your efforts!!  True LWCSTARS!

Monday 14th August - 10am- 4pm at Tesco Extra Superstore, Centenary Way, Finsley Gate, Burnley BB11 2HE   we enjoyed a lovely day at Tesco, great being out in the community talking about our charity and meeting some lovely people of Burnley who very generously donated a fantastic £181.11 Thank you so much! 

Ladies Fashion show by Your Style Boutique, at Accrington Stanley FC  took place on Friday 7th July - great social event, all ladies had fun  with lots of super clothes on offer, we raised a fantastic £350 for our cause.

It was wonderful to see so many of you running on our behalf in the Burnley 10 k on Sunday 4th June, you all did amazing and raised in excess of £700 and the money is still coming in...


WALK FOR YOUR CHARITY- SUNDAY 14TH MAY -  A Fab group of walkers came together in  the annual Rotary  CHURCH & OSWALDTWISTLE 10K WALK , they raised over £350! 

The return of Bryan, the Witches and the Gynaphobes what a fabulous production held at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre on Friday 10th March, to end our week long celebrations for International Women's Day 2017. Written by our very own Moya O'Hagan, staff and volunteers came together and pulled off an amazing performance, filling the theatre with laughter and fun.  Thank you to all who came along and supported us, we raised almost £900! 

We hosted a Ladies Fashion Show at Upbeat Fitness and Functions from the Fashion Show and Sale Company. This fun-filled night raised just over a whooping £400! Thanks for your support! 

Burnley's Bodyfit Festive Fitness on Wednesday 14th December was an hour and a half session of sponsored Zumba , Box, toning and relaxation with 3 AMAZING instructors and raised £40.

Accrington's Dickensian Night on 8th December 2016 we held a Tombola stall and raised a fabulous £133 for our charity! 

With the Grow your Tenner and Give me 5 campaign you helped us raise a fantastic £241.25

From the 1st December we asked everyone to participate in the #GetVestive to help raise awareness of Lancashire Women's Centres! All you had to do was find yourself a vest, anything you liked, funk it up, decorate it with tinsel and baubles... you could decide! Take a picture and upload it to our Facebook page or Twitter with the #GetVestive handle! 

Our Zumbathon, held on 29th May 2016 was attended by over 30 women and raised over £600 towards our work...all whilst getting fit at the same time!
