Short Online Survey - Support Needs Of People With Experience In NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Lancashire Women’s Centres have an opportunity to develop and design a service offer and pathway to better support people who have experiences on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our aim is to ensure women and their families can achieve their potential, develop their assets and skills and live safe, healthy and prosperous lives.

We recognise this is a time of high stress and distress for families as we often see women accessing mental health services some years following a traumatic birth experience who have experienced symptoms of depression, anxiety and even post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting in family breakdown and ongoing distress. This is an opportunity to consider better support to help prevent ongoing difficulties.

As a result, we would like to know more about your experiences on NICU, the support that you received or would have like to have received, so that we can improve, develop and design a really responsive emotional wellbeing support service. We feel that, in order to do this successfully, as somebody who has been involved with NICU, your lived experience could be vital in ensuring that the most appropriate measures are put in place.

Please follow the link below - the survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
