Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Supervisor

This opportunity has been commissioned as part of the 'Five Year Forward View For Mental Health Strategy' which focusses on Integrated services being developed to join up physical and mental health care for those people suffering with a long tern physical health condition and co-morbid common mental health difficulties. 

The post holder will be a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who will have an excellent understanding of IAPT, communities, patient need and relevant partnerships. The post involves supervision of trainee and qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP's) to include clinical supervision. 

It is essential that applicants have as least 1 years experience in a mental health setting as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.

Senior Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced therapist to support children and adults who have been victims of crime across Lancashire. This new role will involve providing a range of therapeutic interventions using a trauma informed approach. 

It is essential the post holder is a qualified therapist with experience of supporting Children and Young People. A play therapy qualification would be desirable.

BodyFit Volunteer

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers who have an interest in sport or physical activity to support our successful BodyFit Programme currently running across East Lancs.  More details regarding what the role of a volunteer entails are available via the Job Description and Person Specification.

Trustee - Treasurer 

Lancashire Women's Centres are recruiting a Treasurer to join their board

Role summary:

  • Monitor the financial standing of the charity and reports to the Board and CEO regarding cash-flow forecasting, income streams, out-going expenses and the overarching strategic management of the organisation’s financial resources
  • Oversee the charity’s financial risk-management process and report financial health to the board of trustees at regular intervals
  • Acts as a counter signatory on cheques and applications to funders and ensure that annual accounts are submitted to all relevant regulators in a timely fashion
  • Liaising with external auditors on financial issues and ensuring that the organsiation’s finances are responsibly managed/invested for the betterment of the organisation’s work and for the beneficiaries it serves

This is a chance to make a big difference to the work of Lancashire Women’s Centres. The support of Trustees is very important to us in order for us to achieve our objectives. Trustee meetings are held every six weeks (up to seven per year), with an expectation that trustees will attend at least five  meetings per year.  This is a voluntary role, but reasonable expenses will be paid.

Trustee - Corporate and Business Relationships

Lancashire Women's Centres are recruiting a Trustee with Corporate and Business Relationship experience to join their board.

Role Summary

  • To assist the Board to develop a corporate relationship strategy and action and build links with companies and businesses in the North West to help achieve LWC’s Mission
  • To ensure LWC’s corporate partnership strategy and practice is of the highest standard
